Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and the
University of Northern Iowa formed the ISGC in 1990. Today, joined by Drake
University, students and faculty at these institutions work together on
science, mathematics and technological projects that utilize the combined
strengths of each university.

...for youth
The ISGC conducts educational activities for Kindergarten
through 12th grades to promote a strong science, math, and technology base.
Activities are designed to broaden the knowledge of both students and teachers.
ISU's Extension-Science, Engineering and Technology Youth Initiative (E-SET)
collaborates with the ISGC to provide professional development
opportunities, curriculum resources and consultation in programming for youth.
