All participating teachers can enter a drawing for a trip to the Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC) on January 31 - February 2, 2008, in Houston, Texas.

Travel expenses (including airfare, hotel, and ground transportation) and the registration fee will be provided.

Three teachers, one from each level (K-3, 4-8, 9-12), will be chosen to attend the conference. Those teachers selected must agree that their district will release them and cover any substitute expenses while they are at the conference. In addition, they must agree to conduct some form of professional development to disseminate activities, lessons, or other educational opportunities gained at the conference. This could be done at the building, district, AEA, or a professional meeting such as the Iowa Science Teachers Fall Conference.
