announces the winners of:

The Seventh Annual
Space Week Science Challenge
October 4-10, 2007


CONGRATULATIONS TO:

The 8th Grade Earth Science Class (2nd & 5th Hours)
at Tripoli Middle School, Tripoli, Iowa
Teacher: Ms. Paula Carlson

Ms. Carlson and her classroom received:

  • Meade ETX Astro telescope
  • Garmin e-TREX GPS receiver
  • a trip to the Science Station in Cedar Rapids.

    The teachers at Tripoli Middle School received:

  • an inservice training session from the
        Extension - Science Engineering and Technology (E-SET) team along with a load of great curriculum materials, posters, etc.


    BUT THAT'S NOT ALL.....

    We also awarded two QX5 School Edition Computer Microscopes to the top classroom entry in the K-3 category!!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO:

    The 1st Grade Class of Mrs. Becky Chipman at New Park Elementary School, Harlan, Iowa


    In addition,

    Each teacher who submitted an entry received a TiViTz Game from TiViTz as an appreciation gift from the ISGC for participation in our Challenge.
