This contest was for Iowa's precollege community.


CONGRATULATIONS TO:

The 8th Grade Earth Science Class
at St. Albert Jr./Sr. High School, Council Bluffs, Iowa
Teacher: Ms. Tarra Beyer

Ms. Beyer's Winning Entry: New Horizons.ppt

Ms. Beyer and her classroom received:

  • Meade ETX Astro telescope
  • Garmin e-TREX GPS receiver
  • a trip to the Science Station in Cedar Rapids or the Science Center of Iowa and IMAX in Des Moines.

    The teachers at St. Albert Jr./Sr. High School received:

  • an inservice training session from the
        Extension - Science Engineering and Technology (E-SET) team along with a load of great curriculum materials, posters, etc.


    BUT THAT'S NOT ALL.....

    We are also awarding a Meade ETX Astro telescope to the top classroom entry in the K-3 category!!
