On Wednesday, October 11, 2000, a Space Week Quiz was posted at the Precollege page of the Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) web site (http://www.public.iastate.edu/~isgc/).  Three different quizzes are available, one for grades K-3, one for grades 4-8, and one for grades 9-12.  There are 20 multiple choice questions on the quiz (ten questions for the grade K-3 quiz) plus a short answer bonus question.  Questions on the quiz were taken from material included in the Earth & Sky broadcasts each day on WHO Radio as well as from the supporting activities.

The classroom teacher should administer the closed-book quiz, score the results (call 1-800-854-1667 for the answer key), and forward the results to the ISGC office.  The Quiz results serve as the classroom entry and must be received in the ISGC Office by 4:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2000.  The entry results must be in the prescribed format and can be e-mailed (preferred) to isgc@iastate.edu or faxed to Carmen's attention at 515-294-3262 or delivered to room 2363 Howe Hall, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.  The results will be tallied and the winner announced on Wednesday, October 25, 2000.

The classroom that does the best on the quiz, wins the prize.
